Only 47% of U.S. Black Males Graduate from High School

"Only 47% of Black males graduate from high school" - are you kidding me? How can this be acceptable? Where do these young black men end up if more than half of them don't even have a high school diploma? I would guess that virtually all of them end up in poverty, incarcerated, and disenfranchised from the rest of society. If African Americans make up 14% of the population, and 7% are males, and of those 3.5% don't graduate from high school. That means that 3.5% of our population is destined for a life of poverty based on these graduation rates alone. This simly cannot remain an acceptable state of affairs.

I have kept a Capital One credit card for the past couple of years because I had a "fixed" rate of 4.99% APR. Recently the rate went up to 8.99% APR, which was still pretty good.
