How to Move the New Tab Button in Firefox to the Left

How do you move the new tab button in Firefox to the left?

This question comes up for me every time I have reinstall Windows and Firefox, so I have decided while finding the answer to also post it on my blog.

First off you should have the Firefox add-on Tab Mix Plus, which you can download here:  https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/

Once you have installed the add-on and restarted Firefox, go to the "Tools" on the Firefox Menu and "Tab Mix Plus Options".   At the top of the new little pop-up window select "Display" and the "Tab Bar" tab.  Check "New Tab Button" and select "On the left side" from the drop-down menu.

But here are the settings you need for aplus.net email configured through Outlook or Gmail or whatever other app you are using.
